Mission


The purpose of the Social Psychology Club is to promote research, education, training, and development in the area of social psychology. Our club seeks to provide a forum which fosters communication, enhances the dissemination of related information, and provides encouragement among professionals in the field. As stated in the Social Psychology Club's constitution, our specific objectives are:

  • to organize, sponsor, and maintain an active colloquia and workshop series representing the diverse the diverse interests within the field;
  • to assist with student recruitment, orientation, and retention;
  • to provide an informal environment for socializing and networking within and among programs;
  • to encourage student research presentations;
  • to maintain active fundraising; and
  • to establish and promote a positive identity that best reflects the Interdisciplinary Program in Social Psychology.
