This is your chance to show us what Pack Pride means to you in any way you want. Support the
Pack by showing us how much pride you have in an :09 second video.
• Videos are judged on creativity, spirit, and Pack Pride.
• Videos that are over :09 seconds will not be admitted into competition.
• Videos can include as many people as you want.
• Videos that are offensive or in bad taste will not be approved by the Department of
Homecoming board.

“Ooh the Places You’ll Go”
Sunday, October 18, 12:30- 3:00pm
The Quad
This Scavenger Hunt will take you around our campus in search of Thing 1 and Thing 2. There
will be three stops with different challenges that each team will have to complete before
continuing their search. The team who wins each leg of the race will receive 200 points
Immediately after the Scavenger Hunt, there will be live music by Colorado Rock/Pop band The
Heyday, food, and fun on the quad.

2009 Wolves Frolic Talent Show
Monday, October 19, 2009, 7:30 pm
Nightingale Hall
The Annual Wolves Frolic Talent Show is back with full force! Each participating team must
perform a skit that will be judged by a panel of judges. Each team can perform anything they
please, but there’s a catch! You MUST include a Dr. Seuss element in some way. In addition
to the talent show, K-Von, a comedian and Nevada Alumni, will be performing to get everyone
amped up and ready to have some fun! Lastly, the winning Pack Pride in :09 videos will be
showcased, so make sure to be there to show your support and have a great time!


“Nevada’s Seussville”
Decoration Judging: Tuesday, October 20th between the hours of 12-5 pm. The judges will be
around at their own convenience. It is not required that you be present.
Location:
Greek House, UNR Offices, Club Sites
Our first annual House Decorating Contest has arrived. Show your homecoming pride by
decorating your house, residence hall, or campus doors. We are breaking the competition into
three separate categories.
• Greek Life
    o You are encouraged to decorate the outside of your house.
• Residence Halls
    o You are encouraged to decorate your designated foyer gathering space.
• Door Decorating
    o If your club or organization does not have a designated house or living area
you fall into this category
            Your team will be assigned a campus office where you will “adopt” theirdoor and decorate it.
            Door Assignments will be given at the October 6
th or 7th mandatory  meeting
The competition will be judged in these three categories. There will be a separate winner for
each category.
Our hope is that, even though judging is on Tuesday, you will keep your house
decorated all week for school spirit!
*It is required that all decorating must be done on a house within a two mile perimeter of
Campus


Pack Gives Back
Wednesday, October 21, 2009, 7:00-10:00pm

Who participates?
• Your team’s King or Queen candidate
In order to participate:
• The King or Queen must design his/her own Dr. Seuss outfit
• King or Queen candidates must arrive by 5pm.
• Your team must donate a gift basket of at least a $50 value for the auction.
    o The contents of the basket may include any variety of items as long as they are
    unused.
    o The basket and a description of the contents must be submitted to the Department
    of Homecoming by Tuesday, October 20
th by 5:00 p.m. to the ASUN Front Desk.
    Anything submitted after that time will have 5 points deducted for 10
minutes late.
This year the event is not a date auction. We will be auctioning off the gift baskets submitted by neach team. Points will be awarded to the baskets with the three highest bids.

Howling Competition at the Blue Flu
Friday, October 23, 2009, 11:00am -2:00pm
Joe Crowley Student Union Lawn
The Blue Flu is not a Silver & Blue Cup Competition. It is the first annual Howling
Competition. Enter your best howler throughout the duration of the Blue Flu. The top three
Howlers will be chosen at the Blue Flu to advance onto the finals at the Bonfire later that day.

“If I Ran the Circus”
Friday, October 23, 6:00 p.m. (Booth needs to be set up by 5:00pm)
Parking Lot Behind Piccolo Park
Watch flame throwers, play carnival games, and eat free food from Men Wielding Fire. Get fired
up for the Homecoming game.
The 2009 Homecoming Bonfire is circus themed. Teams will be asked to create game booths.
Teams can choose anything: funnel cake, candy apples, hot dogs, ring toss, go fishing, duck
pond, etc.

and community organizations present for this event. We encourage you to go above and
beyond this year, and make your floats eye catching for all of our spectators.
